... the world has changed.
Many CX pros, marketers and founders are acting as if the pandemic never happened.
And you know what?
• They can't see the danger that's coming. •
It's like in 1962 when David Bernays and Charles Sawyer looked at Glacier '511' in Peru to see if it could cause an avalanche.
What they found was SHOCKING... thousands of people were a hand clap away from disaster... yet the danger warning signs were clear to see.
So they told people. They told the authorities. They told more people.
And of course Bernays and Sawyer were threatened with jail for causing a panic...
... 8 years later the world's deadliest glacier claimed about 18,000 lives.
So let me ask you this.
With customer expectations increasing...
... With customer satisfaction stalling...
... With customer loyalty declining.
Are you taking notice of these danger warning signs?
Or will you carry on as if nothing's changed?
With that in mind here's tip No 1:
Sweeten the bill/renewal pill
Think how many bills you get each month (mobile, broadband, streaming subscriptions etc). Notice anything radically different about them?
Of course not - a bill's a bill, right?
Except that's not quite true. Not to successful CX pros anyway.
You see they realise a monthly bill gives you a huge opportunity to create a stronger relationship with customers.
Here's how... And it's so simple
When customers are told about their bill/renewal - add a gift to the message.
And if you wrap that gift in a story - customers will be like kids waking up on Christmas morning.
In fact...
Customers will start wondering why other companies don't give them a gift with their bill. And that makes you look even better.
So why not try it next month, because no customer is ever going to say to you:
"STOP! You're giving me too many gifts."
Look the world's changed.
And if you don't connect emotionally with customers - Then you haven't really got customers.
What you have are customers ON LOAN.
And when another company does connect emotionally with those customers. They'll go to them and you'll lose them forever.
So why not try this tip? It's FREE to try, and you can't lose.
Take care and all the best,
