Most companies use email the wrong way...
... They use it to give customers information or to sell them something.
But here’s the thing.
By doing that, they’re training customers NOT TO OPEN their emails.
Because customers soon realise the emails only contain sales or boring information.
And the result?
1. They don’t open the emails.
2. They feel there’s nothing of value in them.
3. They trust you a little less.

So what should you do?
Use the Russian Doll Effect to give emotional reciprocity a chance to kick in.
When sending emails to customers give useful or entertaining information. This makes your emails interesting and customers are more likely to open them.
And when you can't think of anything useful or entertaining . Give them a gift/reward and wrap it in a story.
Do that and your emails become valuable and worth opening - so customers open them.
And as customers start opening the emails and accepting the gifts they’ll start feeling closer to the company...
