Success tip No 6 is so simple, I’ll get straight to it:
Give gifts to customers when they've just bought from you, done a survey or given you feedback.
Do this simple act and you’ll create a bond of trust another company will find hard to break.
But more importantly, if you keep giving them gifts each week/month you’ll increase revenue.
It’s so simple.
Yet how many companies do you know do it?
So imagine how you’ll stand out when you start doing it.
Will it work for you?
But why should you believe me?
Don't. Not for one second.
… Believe the scientific research, studies and proof, such as:
Research by Prof Friedman, City University of New York, which found customers spent more money at companies that gave them gifts.
Prof Cialdini (author of the best seller - Influence) who observed when people accept a gift they feel an irresistible urge to repay the favour.
And as it says in case 4 from this article: “While the cost of the gifts/actions is quite small, the human mind simply cannot refuse the psychological construct of reciprocity.”
I could go on, but I’ll leave you with this thought:
Tomorrow when a customer buys from you... does a survey... gives you feedback.
How will you thank them?
How will you show you appreciate them?
How will you SURPRISE them?
